Lets go ahead 5 years from now. What will be the most blatantly obvious applications of Macromedia Flash then? Or, what features would be part of the standard flash package? For me, three fields look extremely promising. If they sound dumb, then remember that the smart guys wouldn't be so special if it weren't for the dumb guys.

1. MultiUser Internet Applications. But I dont think Remoting and Comm Server would become as popular as third party XML MultiUser Servers, simply because they should be able to offer good connectivity using sockets, portability with other interfaces due to the XML open standard, and most of them would be open source, and free.

2. Flash Interfaces for rich Internet applications.

3. Flash should go on and support 3D natively.
