The devil within

I'm confused by the concept of "Jagrata", or "Jagran". It's supposed to be religious, bringing joy and prosperity and what not to the one who organizes it. For those who dont know, It's a night long, ear blasting, sleep killing pompous show of faith. God doesn't really want his, or her men and women to so blatantly destroy the peace of mind of their fellow beings, does he?

In any case, my night's gone. If all they want is to lose their hearing power with those ear peircing bhajans at high volumes, why not get some bloody headphones?!
