Brevity in expression
Since lyrics seem to be quite a hit these days, I'll post the lyrics of another song I've been listening to a lot these days. The twist is, you tell me the meaning. 'Cos I, frankly, don't know.
Taste the back of my crystal fist
Dog of the reservoir
Causing friction
One Man Army - Prodigy and Tom Morello
( Matrix Reloaded OST )
If you haven't heard the song, and are wondering; this isn't an excerpt, these are the entire lyrics.

Do you have a friend called Taneja. And if you didn't, did you ever wish for one, so you could sit across the tables and do the ARRE-TARNEJA!, and BOL-AHUJA! round (like the one in Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron?).
No offence meant. Always wanted to ask any/ some Ahuja that question.

neha: well yeah, i had this great friend of mine, Taneja, we shared lots of good times together, and a few of the sessions you mention. then, eventually, our differences got the better of us, and we turned into enemies; and our sessions changed to a more aggresive tone - "ABE TANEJAAAA!!! OYE AHUJAAA!!!"
ruble: i donno bud, the mp3 i have says its from the matrix reloaded. i guess you'd be knowing better, so i'll make that change. thanks!

:-)
Sorry okay. Really meant no offense. Bass mooh se nikal gaya samjho.
Oh well, considering even in the movie Ahuja and Taneja are not on good terms. (Actually they are rival building contractors!). But then do you wear a wig? Please don't respond to this comment. Or I'll have comment again! I suffer from Imusthavethelastline-osis of the third degree.

Well, I think everyone got deviated from the original topic, that is, "the meaning of those lyrics". So, I will give you what I think it is -
Well, Crystal, a well built solid, with a highly regular structure, is made analogous to his/her fist's construction, which is, mind it! see-through, as clear as crystal (so that u can see how hot it was when it was made).
And ofcourse, who wants to taste the back of such a fist? None of us I suppose, but maybe those who cause friction or disagreement (isnt it? its true in my case, lol).
Dogs, baby dogs, are really pathetic. Lastly, whats reservoir??? Did you ask that? AAAhhhhhh!, isnt it a place where all those mosquitoes breed? Isnt it, this whole world??? Ain't we humans, aint THEY dogs???
I hope it didnt get too blurring.

The lyrics mean this according to me.
The crystal fist signifies the master's hand, and one in which you can see the future. Tasting the back of such a crystal is licking the past. "Reservoir Dogs" are those the master keeps in, to choose from when and if he needs them in various battles.
In this case the song is called "One Man Army" which means that the dog is the master too, he is the army and the general.
He is remembering the past battles and feeling "friction" or sadness.
Yeah, I should know.

neha: do you have voice recognition installed? else, muh se kaise nikla samjhein? sick jokes apart; well, i used to have this crazy cool red-n-blue wig. it had a strange effect on me, i believe it made me more witty, 'cos wherever i went, i was able to see people laugh. sometimes, they laughed even before i finished.
oh well, it must have been the way I brought it up.
your disease is deadly, yet, here, you have found the perfect vaccine.
aman: i agree with the dogs part... ;-D
fadereu: amazing description, hats off! the bit that doesn't fit, for me, is that the dog has been called the cause of friction, hence the friction should be an effect of his actions, than a process in his mind.

From the city of Djinns to the city of the White Mughals, :)
Hyd has its own charms. Just spent six months there. Fell in love with it completely. Bahut interesting jagah hai. And not very ostentatious either. Been a week since I got to Delhi and it seems like a lifetime away. Glad you got your badam milk!

yeah, nice place. and nice try.
i'm not so glad about the milk now, i've been drinking it so much, i've lost all hope of ever getting back into a "healthy" physical shape again.
