The devil exists

It happened again.

You wake up on a holiday, and to your delight, it's an unusually bright day. You find it in yourself to do your laundry for the week; and your next hour and a half are spent in the bathroom, playing dodge with the clothes and wash with the detergent.

Anyways, you get the deal done, wring the water out of the clothes, put them in a bucket, and as you reach the balcony with the now heavy load, you see that the sun is gone, instead, there are clouds. And clouds.

Yet, the wind is blowing swift, so you hang the clothes for drying, prepare a nice cup of coffee for yourself, get hold of that novel you've been itching to read, and snuggle into the bed.

Tip! What was that? Tip! Tip! Again? Yes, you turn to the window, and see the inevitable. It's raining.

And then it happens again, the next week. And the next.

Someone somewhere has a pathetic sense of humor.

The Journey

Once I met a young lady
More of a girl she was
Her manners were childish
But her actions ripened
She came to me, but as i held my hand,
She said she wouldnt stop...

And I saw her go
She flew with the birds
Swam in the river
Danced with the bees
And grew with the leaves

I could not resist,
So I joined in
She took me to the great mountains
And to the deepest of seas
We saw the dark forests
And the dessicated deserts
I held her hand all through
For I did not know the way
And apparently she did

When we were back,
I left her hand
And asked her to stop

"I want to talk"

"I would love to,
but I cannot stop."

"We would have to part then.
I want to fly with you forever,
but I am tired.
I guess I would rest here...
We may not meet again,
but that is okay.
I need to go to sleep.
But before you go,
let me know your name,
so that I will rest in peace"

"Life", she said, and flew away with the wind.

Of birds and cages...

"I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice. Still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend...."

Goodbye Delhi

I'll have to say goodbye now, since it is time for me to leave. But what I'll also say is that I'll be back, back to conquer. Not because it is my dream to do so, or because it is my fantasy.

But because it is my destiny.

It's a priviledge to know what you want to do

Sometimes, you can know what is it that you really wanna do, and you feel you are doing that. At other times, you know you aren't doing what you wanna do, yet you know what you are doing is a step towards what you wanna do. And then there are times when you don't know if what you are doing is going to be helpful in ultimately doing what you really wanna do; yet you do what you are doing since you have a sincere belief that ultimately you are going to do what you wanna do. But the worst of times are those when you really don't know what it is that you want to do.

So what is it that you want to do? I mean, apart from closing this stupid page?
